The Elgin FFA Chapter has initiated a Christmas Coat Drive.
The coat drive will run from now through Monday, Dec. 21. FFA members are asking for donations of warm clothing for those in need, accepting new and gently used winter clothing for all sizes of children and adults.
Among the items to be collected are coats, gloves, hats, socks, boots, scarves and blankets. A donation box is located in the ag room at Elgin Public School where items can be placed. Or, donations can be made to any Elgin FFA member.
