Madonna L. “Donna” Gregor passed peacefully on April 19, 2015 at Parsons House in Omaha.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Boniface Church in Elgin with Rev. Ross Burkhalter officiating.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:30 pm Wednesday at the church, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service. Huffman-Levander Funeral Home of Elgin is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Elgin Community Center, or directed to the family for charity of their choice.

Donna worked her entire career as a clerk and postmaster of the Post Office in Elgin. She was very active in her community, especially St. Boniface Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Red Hatters Society.
She also led the Junior American Legion Auxiliary for many years and founded the Quad-Lum News for local Catholic school alumni to stay informed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond, parents Greg and Hilda Pape, one brother, Ronald Pape, and 2 brother-in-laws, Dennis Friese and Eric Boshart.
She is survived by son Timothy of Denver, son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Jennifer (Koesters) and their children whom she cherished Camryn, Jayden, and Delany, brother Charles Pape, and 3 sisters Mary Friese, Margaret (Bob) Grigg, and Kathy Boshart and their children.
