Members of the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department will be busy Saturday night. No, they hopefully won’t be putting out any fires. Instead, they’ll be busy with the annual Cruise Night & Fireman’s Dance.
To be held Saturday, June 13, the annual event will begin at 6 p.m. when vintage cars and motorcycles will cruise on the streets of Petersburg. A cruise parade will begin at 7 p.m. and continue to 9 p.m. The Firemans Choice Cruiser Trophy will be presented during the course of the evening.
Starting at 6 p.m. and continuing for three hours, a BBQ will be held at the fire hall. Free will donations will be accepted. All cruisers eat free at the BBQ.
The evening will conclude with a dance and raffle from 9 p.m. to midnight. Mike Theim will be the DJ for the event. The cost is $5/couple to attend.
