Creighton Tops Wolfpack 60 to 42

CREIGHTON — The Bulldogs, unable to dominate the Wolfpack on the gridiron, defeated EPPJ on the hardcourt Monday night, claiming a 60 to 42 victory.
A slow start, particularly on the road, often spells defeat. And that’s what happened to the Wolfpack as they managed just seven points, four by Nick Heithoff, to fall behind 15 to seven after the first quarter.
The Wolfpack started to play better in the second quarter as Ross Schindler had five points and Zach Polk added four. However, Creighton’s Bronson Pahl had nine points in the quarter and his teammates combined for eight more as the Bulldogs claimed a 32 to 16 lead at halftime.
