The Elgin Community Club will holds its regular monthly meeting on Monday night, February 27.
Social hour will begin at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. at the Steel Steed Steakhouse & Saloon.
During the business meeting, the annual Vetch Days celebration will be discussed. At this time the club is still waiting on Richard’s Amusements to give a firm date for when they can come to Elgin. The availability of a carnival is the main criteria in setting the date for the celebration. Also to be discussed will be community improvement efforts.
