The Elgin City Council met in regular session on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., pursuant to posted notice.
Mayor Schmitt called the meeting to order, and announced the location of the Open Meeting Act. Council members present were Duane Miller, Jim Kittelson, and Mike Dvorak. Craig Niewohner present upon appointment to Councilman Ward 2.

• No parking on streets during snow removal
• Tree dump was burnt
• Non-working water meters
• Trees trimmed at 100 N West St.
• Dog bite resolved
• Camper that left without payment will not be pursued
• Campground signs are ready to be picked up
Next regular meeting will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021
