Donna Uhrenholdt was one of many who took time out of their day on Wednesday, October 19, to donate blood. The Red Cross Bloodmobile made their annual October visit to Elgin. According to organizers, 48 units of blood were collected during the six hours the bloodmobile was open. Sponsors of the bloodmobile were students from Pope john XXIII Central Catholic High School.
