Elgin area residents will soon again have the opportunity to donate blood.
Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School will sponsor a blood drive on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The bloodmobile will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 117 S. 2nd St.
