The Antelope County Extension office, in cooperation with UNL–Lincoln Extension, is hosting a Beef Profitability Workshop for all cow/calf and beef feedlot operations. Proceedings on several topics will be provided but this workshop will specifically address the following: Stalk residue as a feedstock; Alternative forages; Fencing / watering options while grazing residue; and Forage testing in nutrition management This workshop will begin with lunch at noon on Thursday, January 23, in the Neligh Courthouse basement meeting room. Cost of the workshop is only $20 which includes lunch and a copy of the beef profitability proceedings. Pre-registration is requested for meal purposes. Call 402-887-5414 no later than Jan. 20
