The Elgin Wolfpack golf team, under the guidance of Coach Jake Sladky, has finished fourth at the Class C State Golf Tournament. Playing at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Gibbon won the team title by one stroke (651) over Hastings St. Cecilia (652), followed by Laurel-Concord (657), Elgin Public-Pope John (670) and Hartington CC (672) rounds out the top five. Altogether, 15 teams competed in the tournament. Individually, Nick Heithoff led the Wolfpack with a two-day score of 162 (+18) and finished in a tie for 16th place. Andrew Heithoff finished in a tie for 19th with a two-day score of 164 (+20).
