NELIGH — Down two points late in the fourth quarter, Elgin Public-Pope John came from behind to defeat Neligh-Oakdale 36 to 32.
In a battle of cross-county rivals, the two teams took each other’s best punches. But, in the end, the Wolfpack was the more physical team and it showed on the field in the fourth quarter.
