ELGIN — There are sure to be many moments to celebrate for the Elgin Public-Pope John Wolfpack in years to come, but the first moment few will forget took place Friday night.
EPPJ won their first game of the season with a stirring fourth quarter comeback to defeat Plainview 66 to 64.
Trailing by one point, 64 to 63, with three seconds left in the game, sophomore Evan Parks hit a trey from just left of the top of the key to give the Wolfpack the lead and the victory.
