Persons here in Elgin have a few days to prepare for the Fall Cleanup Day sponsored by the Elgin Chamber of Commerce/Community Club.
The event will be held this Saturday, October 10.
On that day, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lasting till noon, volunteers will pick up items placed along the curb to be hauled away.
Items must be placed along the curb side by 8:30 a.m. to guarantee pickup.
Also, for persons who have items they can’t haul to the curb side, volunteers will make arrangements to pick those items up.
Arrangements can be made by contacting the Elgin Review office at 843-5500 before 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
