Members of the District #18 Board of Education reviewed the proposed 2009-2010 school budget Thursday night during a special meeting.
All six board members were present for the meeting which lasted slightly over one hour.
Superintendent Steve Dennis reviewed general fund requests. He said instructional services in the general fund reflects the biggest monetary increase in the proposed budget. Last year the category was listed at $1,450,920. This year’s proposed budget reflects an increase of $92,177, making that category now in excess of $1,543,097.
