There was nary an open seat in the St. Boniface Gymnasium Sunday afternoon as the 42nd graduating class of Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School received their diplomas.
In a ceremony which lasted just under an hour, there were smiles of joy and tears of sorrow shared between students and family members as one chapter of their young lives came to an end and a new one began.
