Many area youth participated in the State 4-H Indoor Archery Shoot on Friday, January 28 at Columbus Ag Park.
Each participant shoots 12 rounds of 5 arrows at a target placed at 10 yards for cubs (ages 8-11) or 20 yards for youth and young adult.
Marie Meis shot in the female cub freestyle division. Erin Beckman participated in the female youth freestyle limited division.
Chad Bode, Justin Funk, and Jon Meis all competed well in the male youth freestyle division. This was Chad’s first time shooting at 20 yards and he placed 7th over all and Jon placed 8th.
Brieann Grosserode placed 2nd and Justine Meis placed 3rd in female young adult freestyle.
