On June 18, Elgin 12 & Under girls hosted Creighton for a doubleheader. In the first game, Elgin came up shot, losing 19 to 17. Hayley Stamp started on the mound and struck out one batter. Kayla Nelson came in to finish the game, striking out two batters. Getting hits for Elgin were Hayley Stamp with a single and a double, Nicki Beckman, Baylie Schiltmeyer, Tori Fangman and Taylor Schumacher each with a single.
